number 12 part 1

"-And on Monday there will be a new student in this class. They'll be in both my Language Arts and math classes, period 2 and 3." My teacher, Mrs. Evans told us.
"Is it a boy or a girl?" One of my classmates, Emma asked.
"It's a boy. All I know is he's in the class."
We had just finished a movie on Hitler and were now talking about cliques, which, oddly enough our school didn't really have. Before we left for our next classes, Mrs. Evans told us about the new student.
"What's his name? Is he hot?" Ava gasped and covered her mouth. The class laughed. I laughed with them and didn't say anything. I was just wondering about the new kid. Was he like me, not really popular but not really an out-cast? Was he hot? Did he like some of the things I do?
"I don't know anything. All I know is that he's in this class and he's a boy. Alright, it's time to go."
